Computer-assisted language learning (CALL); computer-based language testing; foreign language teaching and testing; learning languages at distance; tele-conferencing as a tool for language learning
My primary area of research is the intersection of second language assessment, Vygotskian-inspired pedagogy and computer-assisted language learning (CALL).
I have been a teacher of French as a foreign language since 1998 and a teacher of English as a second language since 2002.
I have experience in the establishment and teaching of distance
education and have more recently focused my research on the
applications of telecollaborative technologies to foreign language
pedagogy.
